Chincoteague ponies are athletic and gorgeous equine. They have large forward movement that is comparable
to a warmblood and personalities that will win your heart. The have a legacy of being extremely fast for there size and
at the same time a perfect Child's mount. As I am waiting for my own Chincoteague I have had the pleasure of working and playing
with these ponies at the National Chincoteague Pony Association. They are always eager for a brush down and a few kisses on
the nose.
These ponies are not only beautiful but the have brains too. Smart horses and ponies add excitement
to our lives and keep us on our toes. They also make us laugh at their silly games and playful nature.

What makes Chincoteague Ponies the perfect foundation to start a breeding program on is their intelligent
nature and their large forward movement. These Ponies can really move!!! I am still shocked, to see these Ponies that are
built like horses and then see them move like large warmbloods!! To harness that talent and place it in a dressage ring under
the skillful hands of a trained rider, you would have a ribbon winner no dought.
